Stayed two nights the room was alot smaller than anticipated but served me well as i was visiting alone... the fridge was dirty and had a smell when opened and a constant strong lingering smell of butter chicken in the kitchen area.
The visible drain in the bathroom floor had a stagnant odour coming from it which was really noticeable when walking in there after the door had been shut... i soon discovered the floor mat towel over it helped minimise the smell...
Over all the stay was just ok... not worth the $350 paid for both nights.
Also the lady on reception on the sunday when i checked out was so lovely, friendly & helpful... a stark contrast to the sour smile-less grump who checked me in.
Loction though was perfect 👌🏽

We always enjoy using Proximity. The rooms, hallways and lift always smell clean and fresh. Handy to the motorway, bus and train stations, eateries, shopping mall, movies. We use it when we have activities out south or when flying out of town but need to stay the night in Auckland first.

Fantastic experience - we spent 5 nights while meeting with a medical specialist - great view and great experience to sit on the balcony on our 14th floor apartment while we ate breakfast in the mornings. Secure parking under the building was a great facility as well. Very comfortable bed, clean facility and very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend the apartments to anyone visiting Auckland

This was our third stay, and once again the accommodation suited our needs well. While the building has aged, it remains very convenient and functional, offering everything required for a comfortable stay.
Customer service was a standout, with the young male clerk at the front desk being exceptionally helpful and kind, including providing great recommendations for local cuisine, which we really appreciated.
The location is extremely convenient, with Westfield directly across the way, and the secure car park provided added peace of mind, particularly when using a rental vehicle. Overall, it continues to be a reliable and well-located option, and we would happily stay again.

Great location for coming from the airport and travelling on by bus. Able to go to shopping mall to get food supplies. Quiet with good facilities for kitchen and laundry. Comfortable bed and appreciated air conditioning. Only negative was fragrant smoke coming up from apartment below on balcony and would have liked a security chain on the door to know the door was locked as travelling alone. Would come again
