How can I book in Proximity Apartments?

Proximity Apartments offer various booking options. You can contact anytime our hotel directly via telephone, email or fax. At what time is check-in?

Check in time is 2:00pm.
If you arrive prior to 2:00pm, please let reception know, we will be happy to check you in if your apartment is ready for you. If your apartment isn’t ready, we can store your luggage in our storage room (free of charge) while you wait.  If you wish to guarantee a check in prior to 2.00pm, there will be an additional one nights charge to reserve the room from the evening prior to your arrival. This especially concerns early morning flights.

At what time is check-out?

Checkout time is 11:00 am.
Late check out of 12:00 pm can be arranged at no additional cost and it is subject to availability.

Do you offer disabled rooms?

Yes, we have disabled rooms. Our 2 Bedrooms called ” 2 Bedroom Access Apartments” have a Wheelchair Access Bathroom.

Is parking available at the hotel?

Your car can safely be stored overnight at an additional cost of NZD10.00 per night / per car.  Pre-booking is required.

What are the reception opening hours?

Our Reception hours are: 7 AM to 10 PM

Can I bring my pet?

As much as we love them, we unfortunately do not allow pets.

Is Wi-Fi available at the hotel/in the room?

Up to 1GB Wi-Fi per day is available free of charge.  You are able to buy additional broadband data at the Reception counter.

Do you offer non-smoking rooms?

All the rooms are non-smoking rooms.

Where can I get a copy of my invoice after departure?

Please contact our hotel team, which will send you a copy of your invoice.

What should I do, if I lost or forgot something in my room?

Please contact the hotel directly. Our rooms will be cleaned daily, so that your item probably has been found by our housekeeping team.

 

Questions about the booking process

Which online payment methods do you offer?

We accept major credit and debit cards. We also accept Bank Transfer at the property but do not accept cash payments. Please note that we hold no bookings without a Deposit.

Is my credit card being charged at time of booking?

Your credit card will be debited at the time of making the booking for either the first night or full amount depending on the rate plan booked.

Which credit cards are accepted?

We accept debit/credit cards from MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club Card.
Please note our credit card surcharge:
Visa & Mastercard: 1.3%
Diners Club: 2.85%
American Express:3.35%
This credit card fee is non refundable.

How can I change or cancel my reservation?

Cancellation policy is 24 hrs prior to the arrival(2PM). All modifications subject to cancellation policy in terms and conditions. Please note that the credit card fee is non refundable.

Can I cancel only certain parts of my reservation (for example one of the two booked rooms)?

If you wish to cancel a part of your reservation, please contact our reception at the hotel.All modifications subject to cancellation policy in terms and conditions.

Where can I see the hotel rates? / How much is a room/night?

Our rates are calculated on a daily basis. Therefore we cannot give you a general overview of costs. But you can easily enter the arrival dates in our booking engine and our system will search the best available rates for you.

Why do the costs vary from day to day?

For one reason they may vary because of fair dates or other high season dates. Other reasons could be that the prices have increased since your last visit on our website. Generally rates will increase, the longer you wait with your booking.

Are the rates per person or per room?

All prices, unless stated otherwise, are on a per-apartment-basis including GST.
